With over 30 years of combined industry experience, certified bookkeeper Lyn Navin and qualified accountant Lewis Fodor lead the team. Servicing the bookkeeping and accounting needs of businesses of all shapes and sizes, hailing from a broad range of industries, Lyn and Lewis are equipped with the knowledge and tools to guide your business in the right direction.
Offering a full suite of accounting services, the Newlands Accounting team are experts in bookkeeping, BAS and ATO compliance, payroll, debtor, creditor and financial management. In delivering these services, they strive to save you valuable time and money, streamline your internal processes, maximise business profitability, and most importantly, offer you peace of mind.

At Newlands Accounting, we encourage our clients to think of us as a natural extension of their business. Lyn was born in the UK and until 2004 worked in the financial planning industry initially for large pension fund providers before moving to the independent financial planning sector.
From 2004 Lyn worked in various accounting and bookkeeping roles in the UK before moving with her partner Lewis to the Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia in 2007.
Lyn continued in accounting contracting roles until 2010 when she opened her own bookkeeping business.
Lyn’s mission is to help small business owners understand their financials and know how using these can help them grow their businesses and achieve their goals.
Lyn
Born in the UK, Lewis worked for 6 years in public practice where he trained and qualified as an accountant. After qualifying, he moved into commerce where he gained a variety of experience in SMEs across a number of different industries.
Lewis and his partner Lyn moved to Australia in 2007 and settled on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. After having a break from accountancy where he ran a mobile auto paint repair business, Lewis joined Lyn’s franchised bookkeeping business full time in April 2014. On 1 November 2014 they branched out on their own under their new banner, Newlands Accounting.
Away from work, Lewis is passionate about test cricket and has travelled the world and to many international cricket grounds following the England team. He always enjoys returning to his favourite test match venue at Newlands, Cape Town, South Africa.
Lewis
Born in NZ and moved to Australia with her parents in 1968. Now a confirmed Aussie, but still cheers on the All Blacks whenever they play. She has had many years working as a volunteer both with Suncoast Community Legal Service and Lions Club. Her working life has mainly been in administration working as a personal assistant for many years before branching out and working with Lyn & Lewis at Newlands Accounting. At weekends she is an avid couch NRL Footy Supporter and takes an interest in the ODI Cricket in the summer months.
